The building is beautiful and the rooms are a nice size with high ceilings. the hotel has the best possible location in a picturesque mini-garden. - There are good restaurant options nearby, like the Fins Nerni, only a 20-minute walk away.

The location - calm, great views to the ocean from the room, restaurant and the infinity-pool, not crowded as in huge hotels in Nusa Dua. Close to the small hideaway beach (although you need to make a 5 minutes journey by stairs in surrounding of the picturesque jungles). If you want to go to large Balangan beach please ask the stuff in restaurant for a free shuttle to La Joya of the same owner (where is the reception by the way) Nice stuff - helpful and not ennoying. I went to Bali with my girlfriend to make her proposal and it was the right place. I wrote to the hotel in advance asking to provide us with an appropriate room with seaviews - and it was really great - large duplex room with two beds, a large shower room and great seaviews. Plus a private terrace with live hiding fence. Strongly recommended to young couples and romantic stayings. And don't be afraid of the big rottweiler dogs living and protecting the hotel - they are calm as buddha itself :)
The location is not for everyone. It's far from everything (shops, restaurants, clubs and main tourists spots) so you need to rent a bike (if you are a good driver) or to take a car with driver as we did - good option but for extra money. But frankly it really worths it - with our good driver we have seen even more than in turist tour and for 2 or more person it's even cheaper. The beach is more for surfers and not recommended to couples with small children because of the waves (although the sandy beach itself is nice). And riff shoes are strongly recommended

Stylish accommodation with amazingly kind staff in terms of customer service. Reasonably large and silent room and spacious bathroom with a shower, hair dryers and bath sheets. The hotel of choice in Jimbaran.
Beds were not comfortable.

Our house was very nice- I was surprised that actually we had 2 floors house, with 2 big beds at each of them. The house was cleaned everyday, the staff was friendly. The place is not very close to the beach but it is not so far.

Incredible remote location very close to restaurants and reception as well as other cliff top beach clubs and cafes. My double room was large with mini private garden...

The staff were awesome and amazing. the location was great, at a walking distance from sunset point. - Loved the onsite restaurant La Joya. No need to go somewhere else.

Hotel faces to the sea, and have a good environmental design and sightseeing view.
Direction to the hotel is not obvious, only for a short stay, no more than 2 days. Food is not so good, too many mosquitos in the room, upper bed is little hot. Hotel can't provide power adapter.

1. Staffs are very friendly. 2. Massage service is good.
1. Location is really far away, in a middle of nowhere. On the Booked.net it's categorized in Jimbaran area but actually it's not. 2. No reception in La Joya 2. All service needs to contact La Joya 1 by phone or by walk around 15 min. 3. Smells bad from the toilet. 4. 10 mins walk to access to a small beach, not good for swimming. La Joya 1 has a Bulangun beach. 5. Menu is limited, while La Joya1 has more options. 6. In the room can't access to the internet.

The staff were unhelpful and the rooms were not comfortable or clean. The location was also far from everything and transportation options were expensive. The renovation work being done during our stay was noisy and disruptive. On the positive side, the resort had a nice beachfront location with a jacuzzi and spa area. The views were also nice, especially during sunset. Unfortunately, these few positives were outweighed by the negative aspects of our experience.

La joya ii biu-biu: - relatively close to beach - relaxed, not posh LA JOYA: - after fiew minutes in the resort we decided to change to close La Joya, (900 m from La Joya biu biu, the same owner) which was recommended by friend and we had signifficantly better experience there for reasonable value for money (despite almost double cost) - beach is beautiful and quite close - private pool was very relaxing - offer in restaurant was well ballanced between local and international - we got free massage as a compensation for complications with booking - staff was helpful and flexible when helping to arrange transport (we got driver within few minutes - to take us for whole evening program)
La joya ii biu-biu: - we booked a room with sea view, which was not available when we arrived (broken airconditioning), so we were up-graded to bungalow (no sea view). However, it looked not used much (spiders and spiders webs), without fridge, no water in the bungalow (you had to walk out to separate toilet outside - i.e. less privacy and comfort, as you had to put on shoes and clothes if you wanted to wash your hands) - several quite big dogs in the area (walking around you also in the restaurant area), without explaning by the stuff, if it belongs to the resort and thus we can relax... - restaurant offer was quite basic and not much local food - road to resort was very basic/no pavement - no reception at the resort - so if you needed anything, the staff from La Joya reception had to drive to La Joya biu biu to handle it

The setting (incredible view, beauty of the room/dining area/pool area). We are not usually lazy sunbathers but we loved the place so much that we stayed by the pool during one whole day. Very romantic (amazing sunset). Food was very good (go for the Chili butter fish).
Nothing. Go there.

The infinity pool and the great view from the little balinesian hut on top of the cliffs! Friendly and helpfull staff. Very good quality of food.
On our first day my girlfriend was grabbed in her left leg by the hotel owners dog, a Rottweiler by the way!!! The dog was running around freely, taking baths in the common pool, peeing in the garden area, stealing stuff out of the kitchen bin and the staff members were afraid of the dog too and couldn't handle it! After confronting the owner with those facts, he promised to lock that dog away, but every single day of our stay (4 nights) the dog ran around again and grabbed a russian lady too. Never bitting thou, but a Rottweiler can do serious harm and if you don't know a dog, you don't know if he wants to "play" or not. As there are always kids around we would strongly recommend to put that dog away from the hotel guests in the future!

We spent 7 nights and would love to come back here some time. Well-run place all in all, has competent staff in terms of customer service. The units are brand-new, stylish with a nice outdoor bathroom.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
